There are a few events at the 2024 Paris Olympics, including soccer, handball and rugby, that have already begun, two days before the Opening Ceremony turns Paris into a massive, spectacular parade ground. Among the very first competitions held during the games will be the U.S Men's Rugby team's first game, which sees them facing off against host country France today (July 24) at 10:30 a.m. ET. The two teams are part of Pool C of the Men's competition which also includes Fiji and Uruguay.
The pool stage of Rugby Sevens, as it's also known, moves at a rapid clip; though this is just the first day of competition, each team will compete in two matches, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. After they play France, the U.S. will also compete against Fiji at 2:30 p.m. ET today, which can be seen live on Peaco*ck or during an encore on USA at 7 p.m. ET.
This and every other rugby match of the Games, will be held at Paris' Stade de France, here's how to watch.
